Brad Bergmann - Miranda is a talented journalist, I look forward to getting her articles on Jewish culture, history and learn new things about our religion after each Shabbat Drop. Her insights speak for us all. I'm fortunate to have met her, a great friend.

Love love love today Drop! Did I happen to mention that I love it! I remember every minute the day Phil and his sisters were born. Watching them come into the world was the highlight of my life; and over the last many years they are the highlight of other people’s lives. And that warms my heart. Shabbat shalom 💕🇮🇱

Lovely Drop - happy birthday to your loved ones. Grandma Norma was born Nov. 8, 1906. I always remember her birth year because it was the same year as the great San Francisco earthquake. I don’t know why I remember that, it’s just a random fun fact.

In Spain, I had read, there is or was a custom where people would give a yank on the earlobe of the person, with a yank for each year for the birthday. Please, dear one, do not try that with your father. You will lose my ear with all the pulling or exhaust yourself with the effort.
