Our stroll through the entrance way, down the long corridor past the chapel, past the stained glass windows depicting the 12 stations of the cross, past the crosses with bronze Jesus hanging over us (Mary at his feet) as we head to the elevators - through this land of excessive Christian symbols (and lovely staff I must add) we will tell all and no one in particular (just so it is said) that we are Jewish. We don’t speak Hebrew but can use a few Yiddish phrases and there’s always the soundtrack from “Fiddler” we can sing (it’s a very long walk to the infusion center from the font entrance).
