The Shabbat Drop is what I am thankful for because I love the journey she took to learn more about why Jews do certain things for Shabbos.

I have been going to Synagogue here and there is a Bar Mitzvah tonight. Jewish love is real.

As a person who has trouble praying - and that is an understatement: I value -

My Peoples’ Prayer Book: Traditional Prayers, Modern Commentaries. Vol I

The Sh’ma and It’s Blessings

by Lawrence A. Hoffman

I think of that grouping as a mother and her children.

I’m grateful that I am Jewish. I’ve always felt this way, always, even though, as you know, I am not observant or even very knowledgeable about Torah and so many traditions. But I have always felt connected to something larger than myself which is very special to me. And I have you - I’m thankful for all you have taught me. I am thankful that you are on this wonderful Jewish journey. It makes me proud. I’m thankful I brought you into this world (oh and your brother too!)
