WONDERFUL!!!!! I want to send a hug to each of the writers and all of those of you who just couldn't reply. Good shabbos. Wishing us all peace, especially in our brains.

I have two non Jewish friends and one Jewish friend reach out and it meant the world to me. Each asked about my son knowing he was in the IDF 10 or so years ago and wanted to see if he was called back. They asked about you knowing your professional and personal ties to Israel and your Jewish journey. They asked about us - your dad and me - it was amazingly supportive, kind and non- ignorant (if that’s a word). Thank you to my three.

Thank you, Miranda. It’s easy to feel secure and protected in the valley fasts of Utah, but sadly I’m not. Even as the horrors and searing pain of seeing so many Jews terrorized and brutally killed are shown on television, so the antisemitic chants and protests increase. Even on college campuses. It is also encouraging that the mostly LDS population, which has always been a strong supporter of Israel and Jews, has overwhelmingly responded to this with condemnation to the haters in their midst. Jewish numbers are small here, but not alone.

Thank you for your ability to be present, AND - available and willing to absorb and support pain: whatever the context.
